Wellness for Life is the maintenance phase of the diet. It is specifically designed to allow and encourage healthful eating of foods from each food group. In this phase, you will continue to enjoy healthy grain foods and foods higher in sugars and starches, such as potatoes.
 
Once in Wellness for Life, you will now be empowered with an understanding of proper health and nutrition. Weight should stabilize in Wellness for Life, while other key areas of the health picture continue to improve. Having reached this stage, you have managed to establish considerable self-control, making The Maker’s Diet a plan to follow for the rest of your life.
